About Perspectives Partnership
Perspectives Partnership was founded on a simple belief: that the barriers standing between justice-impacted people and economic opportunity are not inevitable. They are solvable. We are a nonprofit dedicated to building pathways into tech education, career opportunities, and entrepreneurship for people who have been pushed to the margins by the criminal justice system and its consequences. Across this country, tens of millions of people carry those consequences. Perspectives Partnership exists to be a vehicle for change, a bridge between where people are and where they have every right to be.
We are led by our founder and Executive Director, Marcus Bullock, who knows firsthand what those barriers look like. Marcus came home from prison at 23 with no roadmap and built Flikshop, a technology company that has helped thousands of incarcerated people stay connected to their families. That journey, and everything he learned from it, is the foundation of everything Perspectives Partnership does. Marcus built this organization because he believes the digital economy offers something rare: a genuine on-ramp for people who have been locked out of traditional pathways, if someone is willing to build the infrastructure to get them there.
That is what Perspectives Partnership does. We convene partners, fund scholarships, and build the coalitions that make lasting change possible. Our current flagship partner is the Flikshop School of Business, an entrepreneurship and digital literacy program where we invest in scholars ready to build careers and businesses in the digital economy. We pair this work with rigorous external research and evaluation to ensure our model is grounded in evidence and built to last.
We are early in our journey and deliberate about it. The partnerships, funding, and collaboration that come alongside us now will shape what this work becomes. If you believe economic opportunity should be available to everyone, regardless of what someone has been through, we would welcome you as part of this effort.
