Marcus Bullock
Executive Director
Marcus came home from prison at 23 and built Flikshop – a technology company connecting families across the carceral system. He founded Perspectives Partnership to build the ecosystem infrastructure the movement for economic justice needs. Marcus leads strategy, partnerships, and external relationships.
Sylvia Bullock
Partnership Manager
Sylvia manages our partner and community relationships, supporting a growing network of training partners, employers, and community organizations. She plays a central role in connecting people to the resources and pathways Perspectives Partnership helps make possible.
Paul Ashton
Deputy Director
Paul brings over 15 years of criminal justice policy advocacy experience working directly with the systems, institutions, and communities that we exist to serve. His policy background and nonprofit management experience give Perspectives Partnership both the credibility and the internal capacity to grow.
Khurram Shahzad
Software Engineer & Tech Lead
Khurram leads our technology development work, including the tools and data infrastructure that support our partner programs and Labs initiatives. He brings software engineering expertise to the work of building what the movement needs.

Nick Fox
(Chair)
Nick Fox is a Senior Managing Director at Sloane & Company and chairs the Risk & Reputation practice at Stagwell Global. He served as Global Head of Communications and Government Relations for Sir Richard Branson and the Virgin Group for 14 years, bringing deep expertise in strategic communications and stakeholder engagement to the board.
Ari Jones
(Vice-Chair)
Ari Jones is Senior Program Manager for Justice and Equity at the Aspen Institute Forum for Community Solutions. A Tulane-trained attorney, she previously served as Senior Policy Advisor at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office, leading clemency reform, expungement legislation, and Illinois' prosecutor-initiated resentencing law.
Michele Stansbury
(Secretary)
Michele Stansbury is Director of the Office of Title I and Homeless Programs at Baltimore County Public Schools, where she has spent more than 20 years advocating for students and families in highly vulnerable communities. She holds Master's degrees in STEM Education and Educational Leadership.
